Default Baffle Question

I installed some quiet baffles and it did not quiet my V&H pipes like I wanted. The baffles came with insulation wrapped around 3/4 of the baffle. I removed them and insulated the rest of the baffle. This sounds a lot quieter idling and sounds good high RPMs.Bike runs good. My question am I possibly blocking exhaust by adding this additional insulation? If so will this damage engine? Thanks

As long as the baffles have still have an entrance and exit for the exhaust gasses then you are fine. Covering some of the baffling ports will just quiet down the noise that you weren't looking for.

I used the Quiet baffles also but it was still a little loud on long trips. It still had that drone sound. I added the "SmartPartz" baffles in addition to the V&H quiet baffles. Drone is gone which makes long trips nicer. It still gets loud if you get on it but it makes the bike nicer. You may lose a little power but to me it is worth it.....Just my two cents...
