Just take your time. Stop and check the instructions whenever doubt creeps in. I'll be looking over your shoulder!
Feel better already, just wonder'n how your going to do that while asleep. lol Before you go to bed, I have been look'n, beleive me, where is the cam positioning sensor, I can only im agine that it is deeper into the cone, I have the ignition out now. Thanks
No cam position sensor on an ultima just the timing rotor on the end of the cam and the ignition module that picks up the signal from that, nothing inside the nose cone related to ignition.

I am having a problem with my 127 that I was hoping someone could help me out with. Ultima ships these motors with the main seal set up for an open belt so I put in a new seal with the lip towards the primary it was ok for a while but soon I was gaining volume in My oil tank. I put in a new seal again and still pulling all the oil out of the primary, anyone run into this problem with an Ultima engine?? I run ATF in the primary as I have an S&S clutch. Having ATF mixed with Motor oil is not a good thing.

Well here it is , a couple of years since the engine issue, the ignition problem that plagued me for a long time is taken care of and I am about to embark on another short Wi riding season. For the last couple of years I have toyed w/ the idea of having the shtbk dyno tuned to get all I can out of it and considering all the issues I have had and the rum dums that built the bike, I can only assume that the tune could only help. Do I have to worry about blow'n da b'tch up, have the normal 127 lifter noise, other than that she seams to run pretty good. Thanks in advance.
I just had mine out last week and it still runs strong same noises as always not sure if it will just blow up one day or what guess I should get the oil sampled to see if everything is ok as I haven't done that yet I think I have about 25,000 on it.
