Default Whats it worth?

Ive already posted this in the softail section but thought I may get more input here.

Ive got a 95 softail custom with 7100 original miles on it. Its got a new mustang seat, new rubber front and rear, 16" internal wired apes with chrome switches and braided stainless cables and brake line. Also has new upper and lower chrome belt guards and new rear chrome pulley. Outer primary does have a little rash on it on the bottom side. Also has new billet chrome gas caps and new smooth (no bolt holes) chrome rear fender struts along with new chrome rear axle, spacers and hardware. You can see the bike under my profile but the pics are a little old and dont show the bike with the new fender struts and chrome pulley and belt guards. The bike is painted flat black with no graphics or pinstriping. Also forgot to add, bike has white brothers adjustable lowering kit on the rear. (Not Airide) Keep remembering more stuff-also Vance & Hines short shots and K&N air cleaner.

Im thinking about letting her go. I know evo prices arent too great right now. What could I expect to get out of this bike?

Craigslist.com can give you an idea of what other people are selling theirs for. I would say if you don't mind holding on to it for a while I would say 12,000. But if I would not take less than 10,000 for it. good Luck. The bummer is there are a lot of nice bikes that people are just getting rid of for cheap.

Also check COMPLETED LISTINGS on ebay. Cycletrader also has LOW-MEDIAN-HIGH values that may help. Lastly, I also check KBB.COM and NADA.COM. Best of luck.

I'm thinking closer to $8k for it. The way things are right now you can pick up 04s and 05s for around $10k. Then again you never know.

10-12k for a 95 Soft Tail Custom is a bit optomistic these days, even with only 7K on the clock. I bought a 94 this summer in cherry condition with many extras and a ton of parts for 6 and change, about 22k miles and it needed tires (there were lots to choose from). You might want to consider waiting until next spring, that's when most people get the "itch" and the economy might be a little better, can't get much worse. I hope..

agree. a 95 would bring about $8,000.00 when you get into the 10,000-12,000 range you can buy a 2002 and up with low milage.

I just bought a '95 Road King with 4k in new chrome (with receipts), 39k on the clock, new tires, new battery, and every accessory the guy had (leather jacket, leather chaps, rain gear, rain gear, high vis gear, helmet, battery tender, etc) for $9k. Worked out since it's my first bike and the guy is the same size as me .

In June 09 I bought my first Harley. A 96 FLSTC Heritage Softail with 16500 miles for $8700. I don't know what was stock for that bike, but all the lights have SE covers, both gas caps and mirrors are SE, the points cover is SE, ignition is a Dyna 2K, Mustang seat (no driver back rest), quick release package carrier with sissy bar, good rubber, pinstriping, leather saddlebags and a windscreen with leather pouch.

I think mine looks good to me. If I were to compare the two I think yours looks much better and has more goodies than mine.

I have a 99 Fxstc with a boat load of extras on it, like $7 K, and would not let it go for less than 10.5-11, and I may get it and I may not. It is the one on my sig pic, but I ain't beggin' anyone to take it. It speaks for itself. I added up everything that I had in it, including replacement value of the bike and have right at $23.8 in in, so I don't think that I am out of line asking 11, and some change for it.
