Never mind on the original question. I found the drain plug. I just needed to get the bike up in the air a little to see it. I just bought the bike and it's a little different than my evo dyna. I think its 4 qts of oil in the tank but not sure. But anyway it's got a dip stick I was just wondering. I don't have a maintenance manual yet. I love the bike. a police tour FLHPI. It rides so good too my wife is going to love it !!!

Yup, 4 quarts, don't overfill it or it will push the extra oil out of the breather. As long as the oil is above the add mark you're good to go.

Yes, many miles ahead for you on the RK and you will appreciate the saddlebags on your first trip.

The transmission drain plug is in the same area towards the rear right side of the oil drain plug, it takes a 3/4 wrench. Took me awhile to find it so I'm passing on some info.

Bikes differ. I like to run my Glide close to the high mark, but I had a BMW that would burn off oil to about a third way down from the high mark then settle. It can take a lot of top-ups to realise it is just using oil for the sake of it!

thanks everyone . I actually got to ride it a little yesterday after the snow melted. I love it so far But it does burn a little more gas than I would like but it has got some killer power and I do love that. also have found a good deal on a mustang regal seat, suppose to pick it up friday. I can't wait for a good road trip to try her out. Hey Isn't Daytona bike week next week? Humm

man I love that color. very nice ride. bet it will fly. I heard that the EV-27 was a good cam for the RK. don't really know whats in mine ,but I'm guessing its stock. but it does have the screaming eagle breather for what ever thats worth..
