I just got an 03 RK police. It has been sitting for a while & has moisture in the crankase oil and I want to change it before I ride it. I bought oil & filter but can't find where to drain the crankase oil. The plug I thought was it turned out to be the transmission, at least I got it changed.
Can anyone tell me where the crankase oil drain is located?
Is it the 1/4" allen head plug in the bottom of the crankase? If it is mine is tite as hell, maybe has threadlocker on it. I hate to start unscrewing things on the engine if I'm not sure what it is.
ya, a repair manual will be one of the 1st items on my shopping list. I just got the bike Saturday & wanted to get the oil changed & since I didn't get an owner's manual, I consulted you guys.
I've learned quite a bit about the bike already by just reading the posts on this forum.
