hey check this out...
decided for my 86' wide glide I'd try something different besides paint, went with a black and gray textured powdercoating finish. It looks kinda like a hammered finish up close. what you guys think??

I use to know a guy that crashed his Sportster about 20 years ago. He made the bike rideable again and coated the tank and fenders with that Bed Liner stuff. He then put Enduro tires on it!
Anyways, yours looks good....his looked liked a 99 cent tank job!

Few years ago I had my FXR lower forks, triple trees, rocker covers and air cleaner cover done with that finish. Held up great. Longer than the bike. But thats a different story. It'll look sweet with that power coat.

heres the bike in semi finished form...
not the greatest camera its and old kodak with 4 megapixels. later I'll post pics with a better camera. thanks guys for all the compliments. my working is starting to pay off, once this thing is complete the twin cam may just sit in the garage! haha nothing like and EVO!
