You guys know that you can take your manual down to Office Max, etc. and they can enlarge the diagram, laminate it and that makes it easier to use!! Don't forget to do the legend.
John - LOL! I'm assuming you're being serious, although I wouldn't blame you if you were being a sarcastic smartass like me... That's actually a very good idea!
But I just don't think I could put up with the comments from my wife if I actually hung a laminated Harley electrical diagram on the garage wall... she already thinks I'm nerd enough (I work for a software company...)
Maybe I could superimpose that wonderful image of Cheryl Tiegs in the HOT PINK BIKINI from the 70s in the background??? That might work...
Just finished the tach install. Here's a couple pics. First one shows how crowded it's getting behind the shield. Second one shows the tach at idle.
Thanks to everyone who gave input. special thanks to NGH for helping with chasing down that pink/black wire!

Sweet! A tach is very nice to have. Glad I could help.
You think that's crowded? You should see Bertha's cockpit... between the 2 speakers, the triple windshield bags, the iPhone mount, the GPS mount, and the cup holder - I can just barely see the gauges, and can just barely open the fuel door!
I just use a walkman for tunes, it's got FM besides MP3. It's "mounted" using industrial velcro. I just couldn't wrap my mind around paying 40 to 60 bux for a device mount.

Actually I am serious. I have a bunch of them done that way. No more greasy fingerprints smudging up an already difficult to read diagram. I can set it on the bench and see it from the bike. It's a lot easier to trace an individual line on it too!! Work smarter, not harder !!!
