You also are only a short ride from Howard at Davie FL, if you ever consider upgrading your shocks.
I did a little research and found their site (Howard's).. Pretty interesting stuff, looks like he's on the ball.. I'll probably stop in and see him next time I go down that way. I've gotta say though, I'll have some trouble letting go of the $1200 they want for shocks for my bike though....
BTW, Mike, that boy's sure growing up in front of our eyes.... Looking good with his first bike!
Many recommend Mean City Cycles for the seat mod. Much cheaper than trying to find a new seat & they custom fit you based on size & riding mechanics. Might want to give them a call...Cheers!

I have his #3 Ohlins. They cost much less than that (~$900) and Howard offers a discount to HDF members. They have transformed my bike.

No doubt they made a difference. I'm just not sure I feel a $1000 problem with my bike. You and Dale already talked me into the "True-Track" system.. I've got to prioritize.... One day, I'll probably go that route, I've just got many other things that want that cash right now. Plus I'm a cheap bastard anyhow.. The only reason I looked past the #3's is that while searching through their site, I saw them installed on a Dyna and would rather the appearance of the #1's since they are exposed.. I do get down there a few times each year, so I'll definitly stop in and talk to them..

Sorry about that! But they are good.

Howard is just a short ride away from you. You could call by.....
Interesting how Graham refers to a 661-mile ride as "short"!
Don't know nuthin' 'bout no shocks - but I sure do love my Mustang Regal touring seat on Bertha... it's like a friggin' La-Z-Boy on wheels... 'specially with the rider backrest!

I started to make a comment on that too.. But, I took into account how far he is from Davie, and figured I was actually pretty close.. I grew up, not far from there and frequently visit the area...
