Ignition System Recommendations
I am now at the stage that with the exceptions of the tins, frame and cases, this bike has been completely rebuilt.
Wouldn't have it any other way, I love the EVO and a Carburetor

With the work done to it now, it will last another 25 years !
Don't think there will be too many twinkies out there......
Just got back from a 220 mile run.
Problem solved!
Ran like a champ, 40mpg running at 70mph, 2-up
Ended up setting it on mode 7, curve 6
Bike has never run this good, obviously been acting up for a while.
One interesting note.... No issues with charging! I usually run (at the volt meter) 12V this time around, constant 13 -13.5V at the volt meter, up to 14 V with higher RPM.

You'll love your Twin Tec. You can program custom advance curves if you like, but it probably won't be necessary. With your engine mods, you can play around with your own curve to your heart's content. To do that, you'll need Daytona's USB interface cable kit - which runs around $115 and fits all Daytona ignition systems. Seems pretty expensive for a cable, but it has a little box on it that probably contains some electronics. The PC software is free from their site.
I have mine set on setting 3 (street mode, single-fire, multispark, curve 5). Any more than that and Bertha will ping under 3000 RPM with the EVL-3010 cam she has.
