hi crew
i have bought a set of se heads for my 85 lowrider have an extra hole in them it is located on the pushrod side inbetween the headbolts
the hole is threaded and blind any ideas what its for
After rereading the post, those holes are something else, the temp sensor is in the front head only and in the front side center. Possibly compression release holes if they go into the combustion chamber or I've heard of people talking about predrilled compression releases in SE heads that are just guide holes that need finished off but I thought that was just a Twin Cam SE head?
What are the part numbers stamped in the castings?

My compression releases are next to my plug holes on the left side. That's why i thought those heads were set up for dual plugs.
Lonewolf, good possibility of dual plugs but the mentioning of blind holes has me throwed off in this one. Should be able to see an exit into combustion chambers
