Default SE-3 cam

I have an opportunity to pickup a cheap SE-3 cam plus injectors and upgrade cartridge for my 1998 FLHTCUI. Currenty, the bike is in Stage 1 with stock cam.

I've already changed to the torrington bearing. Question is.....anyone here have any experience with the SE-3 cam? Pros or cons? Thanks

Similar to the EV-27, I've run one for 10 years and like it. It came with the Stage Two package. It comes on at 3200-3400 RPMs.

But I have a W-6 on the shelf.......................

When I purchased my bike it had the SE-3 package and a good upgrade on the stock EFI engine, no dyno tune needed and a matched system, the only thing I noticed was the pop thru the exhaust on decel. If the price is right it is a no brainer and will have the red injectors for future HP builds but don't expect a front fork stretcher on the big bike, just a positive upgrade.
I'm positive that Harley has to load that cartrage for you into your ECM, so figure that into your budget.
