Hi STL,

I have a '97 Wide Glide (Evo) and followed this website: http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/hdbuildstage3.htm and their Stage 3 Evo Build (~ 82hp).

There is a second Stage 3 build (~ 95hp): http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/hdbuildstage3_95.htm

I have talked to Stephen Mullen whose bike this was performed on. He is also friends with Wes @ Cycle Rama as OldBiker provided the link. You can some pretty big HP/TQ builds that Cycle Rama has done.

Since I have a '97 Evo I will list what I did (so far - it is not enough, imagine that LOL), following nightrider.com's list of parts:

* SE A/C, w/ heavy breather
* Thunderheader 2-into-1 exhaust
* Cams - I believe they are EV-27, but were installed prior to me buying the bike
* SE Heads (increases compression to 9.5:1)
* Adjustable pushrods were already installed
* SE Ignition (non-adjustable)
* Top end gasket (it may be Cometic)

This resulted in 79hp/87tq for my bike.

Good luck on your build and keep us in the loop. Post dyno when done with parts in your build.

2 really good peices of advice in this statement about headwork and John Sachs. John did my heads and helped me set my engine up, straightshooter and respected by the best.
