Default Cam break in question.

Doing a re ring on my 88 FLHTC 80 ci with 50,000 miles on the clock. I pulled the cam & lifters. They were still in good shape but a small amount of wear was visible. So Im installing an EV-13 new lifters & adjustable push rods as it goes back together.
Now, on a car when you fire up you run the rpm steady for 15 minutes to get your initial wear in or break in. on my Chevy, I run it around 1500.
Is there a proper break in proceedure on an Evo?
I know how to seat the rings but not sure on the cam & the manual does not cover this question.
Hatch.

cam needs no break in, simply because it is a roller, not a flat tappet like your chevy, only thing you need to worry about is doing a initial heat cycle on the rings, if you used a cast ring, they almost seal immediately. chad.

Can't say I ever heard of a break in procedure for lifters or cam. Lifters may be a bit noisy first time you startup but should be good after.
