Don't know the computer file garble, different numbers are desinated to different applications. PC2 maps, PC3 maps-Evo, PC3 maps-TC. Concentrate on the maps 801-302 to 801-320, the other files won't attach to your PC3 probaly because of what you are asking about, you can cut and paste the other map/files to download them but no need to.

The reason for maps looking close from one to the other is they are just downloaded from a dyno'd bike and stock/mild applicaton bikes only need small areas richened up BUT if those numbers are 3-6 off in the wrong place, your bikes runability can suck, that is why dyno tuners have jobs.

Once you understand downloading maps to your PC3, it only takes about 5 minutes so you can change maps as quick as changing underwear and can play some with a stock/mild application, take in consideration that these maps are listed just to get a EFI close and not perfection. That is why is I mentioned that you might have to tinker with it to remove deacceleration pop, expecially with straight pipes.

When you master the fuel, then you have the ability to adjust your timing, set up a accellerator pump feature with the firmware update on the Powercommander website so put your thinking cap on. PS - no outlet to trim rings.

Well,I'll keep an open offer to ya! Decided yesterday morning to pull my baffles back out.Couple of us took a nice ride in 70 degrees, bike ran fine but I didn't abuse it a whole lot.Meant to pull the plugs the minute I got home and take a look at em but we all got sidetracked and didn't make it home till late, guess I'll go downstairs in awhile and pull em just see see what they looked like.I'm gonna put the PC on this week at any rate.
Now,another ?.....this PC came with a map already on it but there's no way to know if this is still stored or what's in it,How do I find out what's on it now??

You have to hook into the PC3 with a computer with the software installed, bring up the main Powercommander screen and it will have the map number listed in the onscreen information. The map will still be in the PC3 unless it was manually removed.

My experience might be unique to people on the forum-who knows. My only concern is it leaving you in a bad place somewhere,at the worst possible time. Just my two cents, hope the information helps.....
And that's what you get for riding a twinkie.

But seriously folks, all you had to do was reconnect the ecm without the PC.
