Default Getting RPM . . .
Just looking to see where you guys are getting the rpm's so you can time your bikes. I tried off the timing cup but couldn't get a good reading. Tried on the flywheel but that turned into a total mess.

The RPMs are not critical, just needs to be over 2,500rpm so its fully advanced....if in doubt, go higher but you will know when its full advance because the timing mark stops moving in the hole.

The back of my dial back timing light has a tach built in.
