I ran the DFO on my 01 with mm injection with Stage 1 download in ECM. Ran great, averaged 43 mpg. Took Stage 1 out (found out later i didn't need to) and just installed the Cobra FI2000 PowerPro Autotune and mileage is around 41 mpg, but throttle response is better and i don't need to dyno with every upgrade, it self adjusts the fuel automatically. They have the only auto tune unit for the mm injection system i could find without replacing the injection for big bucks. So far i'm happy with it.
Hello.. I have a 1998 Electra Glide with Fuel injection.
Previously I put a Revtech DFO on it but never really got it adjusted right so I called a bike shop who specializes in high performance harleys. He told me with the Evo's it will not do much good using a DFO with a fuel injected Evo. When I had it hooked up I got really bad gas mileage but never got more performance.
The main reason I am posting is because I just put new Rush pipes with 2.5" baffles. It backfires pretty good when decelerating... I'm assuming now it is running really lean. I'm wondering if the DFO would work ok now or if there was another option to adjust the bike to run more rich..
Thanks...
I've got a PCIII I bought for my 98 Road King I'd sell you.I gave a $115 plus shipping. The only problem I had was that I bought a cheap cable to USB off ebay. All the instructions and downloads are on Dynojet's website.Mike and these other guys on this site will be a great help to ya on the PCIII.
Let me know cause I'm gonna list it on Craigslist and Ebay soon.
96Roakding, I appologize on not posting the ECM photo yet, I work 12 hours a day and 10 on Sat and getting ready for Sturgis so I have been busier than a one armed wallpaper hanger.
