Find where your connections plug in and start unplugging them to isolate the electrics. I used this method to find a short on my ignition switch. Good luck, lotsa patience required for electrical gremlins.
Could just be a bad breaker. They get weaker and pop with less amps everytime they go off. Ur bike may be producing enough amps while running to pop a weak breaker.
