If car tures were as good as the dark siders would have us believe, Harley would be fitting them and the tyre makers would be telling us to use them. I have travelled half a million miles on bikes and am not about to do something so counter intuitive as to fit a frigging car tyre to any of my bikes!
I find it disappointing that we have descended here in Evo-land to the sort of talk we berate the Touring lot for!
Aw come on Graham, its good to bag on the 'tards, even here! But we should not dwell on this matter, I have a Shovelhead gearbox to put back together and Mrs Spanners needs to be taken out for brunch.
I witnessed an accident yesterday, Honda CBR vs Boat Trailer/Ute combo....the bike came off second best and the rider is in hospital with back injuries. I tried to do first aid but everybody except the two driver/riders was drunk and they made a guy with back injuries stand up and walked him to the side of the road......I wished I had my hunting rifle with me so I could have fired a few shots into the air and make people see sense but they just carried on being utter dicks about the whole thing.
Later, the cop described the guy "leading" the first aid of this poor chap as a f$$##ing arsehole......I think there should be a law against drunk passengers, not just drivers :-(
