The Fairing Mirrors instructions stated they were limited to later years but could be added to any year Harley Inner Fairing.

Your correct. I had the '86. It had four gages. When i got my '89 Ultra and had just two gages, I was bummed.
That limits this Fairing years to '89-'95.

The pictures sure make it hard to tell, but the Klingon might be right. Not an 86, though, 4 gauges in 86 as noted. I zoomed in and I think it is HD.

Well, I have decided that IF it is a hd fairing complete inner and outer and all brackets it is dang sure worth 300 bucks! I found some pics of both inner and outers and blew up the pics I had and I can only figure that the area where the switches and on/off switch are suposed to be was cut off other than that they are identical far as my blind butt can see. And if not, the ride over there ws worth trying to save the parts.
