Default bag ideas custom latches?

Hello, been sanding, filling in mold blemmishes on a set of extended bags and lids getting ready for paint soon. Im thinking a smooth look would be really cool, with no visable latches outside. Any ideas on hidden latches, locks, hinges etc? Ive been looking at latches for kitchen cabinets, magnetic and snap type. Thinking of installing locks on the back side towads the frame to hide them. Thanks for your input!

I found this. For hard bags it might work well.

Just make sure they latch very securely. Having lost a couple saddlebag lids, functionality is paramount to me.

A feature of our lids is that they have a soft sealing ring around them. A latch that locks positively might work when pressing down and compressing the seal, but will need to be very precise in operation. A magnetic latch doesn't fill me with great confidence, but there may well be something just right out there.

I guess the ones I'm talking about aren't magnetic... They have a latch mechanism that can only be opened with a magnetic key, very secure... My sister put them on her snack cabinet to keep me out...

Flat bungee cords that kind of blend in with the paint. I know...it's all about the ride for me. Plus I had a lid blow off once and looked into latches and can't find OEMs for my '91 FLHS so the bungees do the job. :-)
