Thanks. Yeah, 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo. That pic was taken on the track at Hallett.

Agreed. That is a nice car. Funny how we go from windshield brackets to Lotus cars and James Bond. Sean Connery was the best Bond.
I thought Pierce whatshisname (the Remington Steel guy) did ok. The gal that like to squeeze people to death was hot. I don't really remember much else.

One of the charter members of our HOG chapter rides an 82 FLH. He gas the bat for it. He runs it in the wintertime. I'm going to see if he will let me eyeball his. The placement of the studs and brackets etc. If it looks closer I might unload this one and get one off a Shovel.
It's hard to explain, but these beackets just don't place the fairing right on the bike. THe angle is all off too. I know FLHS forks are way different. I'm thinking the Heritage and the pre-84 FL's are pretty similar.
If nothing else, at leasst I know the brkt kit from Canada will work on the pre-84 version.
If anyone with an FLHS is intersted, if I sell this one, I'll only try to get what I'm in it. $200 + shpg. And it would be a bolt on deal for ya.

Thanks for the help guys

I think one of the reasons those mounting brackets won't work is the later forks are different in some way from the earlier FLHs. My batwing wouldn't sit right on my FLHS, which is one reason I made new mounts for it. I also wanted it to sit sloping back a little more than current bikes, more like a proper FLH!
