Default Changing spark plug wires

When changing spark plug wires on my 97 RK I know I have to remove my gas tank. My question is can I get away with just removing the tank bolts and lifting the front of the gas tank to get at the wires without having to disconnect wiring harnesses as well as the pet ****?? Thanks in advance!

I replaced the wires on my Ultra last year or so....

I only unbolted the tank for just enough clearance to replace the wires. Tight, but the tank does not have to be removed.

Thanks for the advice!! Took me an hour to change out my spark plug wires! It was tight but my patience and persistence paid off! Just a heads up be careful to not disconnect the ignition switch wires as I found that out the hard way. Easy fix just had to pull the dash off and reconnect the ignition switch wires.
