Looking for a headlamp for my wife's 85FXEF. The one in it now is a Wagner H4467, DOT MN05, 50/35 W, K5. At least that is what is written on the back of the light.
I ordered one that was a replacement but it didn't fit.
The problem was that there were to many glass indexing nibs on the back of the bulb. The one that fits the bike only has one nib and it is at the 3 o'clock/90deg position. There are no set back nips because the rubber gasket holds the bulb in place and not a bezel ring.
If any knows where I can get this specific light please let me know. Thanks for ya'll help.
As with all my older bikes, I get a Halogen replacement light. You can go to your dealer and order one that will fit. Then if you have light failure you just replace the element inside the light lens. Much more light and cheaper and easier. I find they last as long as the sealed beams.
