Default Electraglide 91 drain plug.

Greetings!

Where is the engine oil drain plug(s) on EG 1991? Can not find any instructions at the Internet.

Thank you.

Yup.....pull the bag and the cover, just above the bottom mounting bolt.

Thank you!

So It`s 2 drain points: 1. Bottom the oil tank. 2. The oil filter (the lowest point).

Correct?

The oil filter won't drain much, the Harley engine is a dry sump, but yes, that's all you need to pull.

I remove the filter first. A big screwdriver and hammer is the easiest way to get that off I find! Then drain the tank and I use the cardboard tube from a large paper roll as a disposable funnel (from kitchen tissue) to direct the oil and plug into a bowl. Fit new filter, refill tank, run engine to confirm oil is circulating, then top up.
