You simply give light taps on opposing sides of what ever you are using to drive the new seals into place. For example consider the piece you are tapping on a clock. Use the pattern 12-6-3-9. If you use a long enough piece of PVC then just tap it on the end with the flat of the hammer.

Just put the seals in everything went well used the pvc and gave it love taps . Now these are dry forks because I cleaned everything out how much fluid ? the manual says 9.2 wet on a superglide 98 thanks for the help

If all you did is change the seals without completely disassembling the forks then use the wet scale.
If you completely disassembled the forks and got all the fluid out then use the dry scale.

Look up front forks in your manual. On the first page (2-45 in mine) it will say x for wet and y for dry.

Yeah in your manual but mine 98 superglide says 9.2 wet. I can't find dry being I cleaned everything out I put 11oz in and used screaming eagle heavy in there and we will see what happens
