I really don't mind nite shifts on a regular rotation but then again my nite shift is 930 to 530 am and I get up early and still enjoy the day.

A lot of days the only riding time I get is to or from work.

I work in a plant that operates 24/7/365 and I have to rotate all 3 shifts. Each shift for 7 days in a row, then 48, 72 or 96 hours off depending on which shift change. I only get one Sat/Sun a month off. If one shift is sick or takes vacation the other 2 have to cover it by working a 12 hour shift, usually several days in a row. Have been doing this for 26 years, the hours suck but the pay is good. The worst part is working all those holidays.
