Default Quick Cam question, ev27

Im putting in an EV27 in my 98fxdl next week and what to know how to get everything lined up. I broke into the cam case about 5k ago and replaced the cam bearing and lifters and noticed that the OEM cam had two dots on it, which lined up with the breather gear and drive gear (bottom gear?) I hear the Andrews only has one dot so do i alighn that to the drive gear? then at what position does the breather gear go?

If your present gears are not making a whining noise then I would swap the existing cam gear to the new cam...Reduces the chance for noise and you'll have your two dots as well...LOL

Easiest just to use your existing cam wheel as you'll have to take it all apart again if the one on your cam is the wrong size. For how long it takes it isn't worth not doing it. The measuring system that comes with the instructions is a pain and takes longer than the wheel swap anyway.
