Default 1998 Evo motor
Someone please educate me .. Does $1600 for a 1998 Black and Chrome motor with 16K on it sound reasonable? Includes all fuel injection components..

If I remember correctly, back in 98 HD sold them in Black & Chrome for $3000.00. IMO if the motor is mostly stock and history & numbers are true & correct, i'd say it's a good deal.

Sounds quite resonable to me. Pinwell sells there motors for around that and some times less.

I bought one a few months ago, '98 RK EFI with everything, 45k mi for $1600.. I couldnt be more pleased with it. All my research showed me that it was a better deal than fixing the one I had..

As always appreciate the input.. I thought it sounded reasonable. I believe it's still in the bike so should be able to hear it run and yes even turn over Ha..This is where I usually say " Now to convince my wife what a great deal it is". However she already said she thinks it's a good deal ....

Ask permission for a EV27 and lifters before the engine goes in, tell her it will match her purse or something in that line.
