You might have to open your primary and check your compensating nut to see if it came loose. Just a thought.
Same thing I was thinking, compensator loose and rattling. Might be 2 problems present, still thinking about the oil consumption and smoke, oil is overfull now in the tank situation? Smoke on front cylinder only?
Going to check the compensator nut, but is it possible that its only rattling when hot? Btw, when I'm thinking of it, the rattling comes when the primary oil's getting warm...
When measuring the oil level, the bikes shall be on stand or being held straight? Have read of so many different ways of measuring , depending of the model I've measured the oil with the bike standing straight, and the oil level was about 0,5", or 15mm over max marking.
The smokes comming from both pipes, but most from the front cylinder.

You measure your fluids with your bike straight up and down (not on jiffy stand).
