Default Radio cut-out problem

I have a 1995 Ultra Classic. When the radios on and the bike is at low idle (1500rpm or less), if i activate brakes front or rear a loud pop sound is heard, the radio momentarily cuts out, then comes back on and all the lights dim. This only happens at low idle. At highway speeds there is no problem and everything works fine. It has a new battery, and stator and volt reg has been checked at dealer. I removed the cb power fuse located behind the left side panel and the cut out stopped, however the lights still dim and now the rear speakers are deactivated. Any advice would be appreciated, THX

Do a search, there is another thread on this already on the forum somewhere.

Mine does it on highway speeds, if there is too much lighting. Sounds like wiring/ ignition switch problem: just cannot deliver that much current. Thus it's not the battery or alternator, it's the stuff in between I think. Gonna thoroughly investigate during winter.

I did check mine - it's alright. I don't think it's the issue if the ignition cuts off too (loud pop for rpmerc86, and my engine dies as well). Most likely it's the ignition switch.
