As the new owner of a 1999 Lowrider I know I should be in the Dyna Forum but its not doing it for me...I have a plan and that is that the Early Carby TC's should be part of this forum and it gets called the Evo and Carby TC Forum, or something similar....its a question of identity and groove if you get what I mean.....I like this forum and early TC's have much the same issues as late Evos anyway (inner cam bearings, CV carby, same tranny and primary etc)
Any takers? Or y'all a bunch of rabid TC-hating bigots?
I always suspected that Southern hemisphere residents suffered from blood rushing to their heads!
I would take the suggestion a stage further and observe that the forums as currently constructed leave a lot to be desired. Touring for example sweeps up Evos and even occasionally shovels, so is poorly defined.
As a one time carby TC owner I have some sympathy! I can see a case for rearranging the forums (illiterate lot - I'm sure that should be fora!), but not sure that is the right way, or the only change worth making.
Spanners that name is way too long. Besides NGH already set the precedent when he got rid of Bertha and got Buster. TC owners must pay to be here and the buy in is cake!!!! LOL

Agreed, I've often wondered how they keep the oil in the oil bag and beer in the bottle..
Ours is one of the better defined ones, if you have an evo motor you can come here and talk to people who have the same and also bikes of the same vintage. If I want to know about a seat that will fit on my bike, I come here because someone will have faced the same issue and in my case the seat changed with the motor.
Sorry bud but more changed when MoCo went to twin cams then just the motor and they used carbs up until 2006, that's a long way from the EVO era. We like you here and there is no rule that you have to own an evo to post here but I like it the way it is, all EVO - all the time.

Where do I send the cake and do different types of cake get me bonus access to secret forums?

I feel your pain, Spanners ! Now that I added a TC (in addition to the EVO) to the shop, it's like we are in limbo ! Think I'll have a beer and think about it.......
