Default Difference between front hubs

What's the difference between front hubs on an 84-99 softail, and an 84-99 softail springer? I'm trying to find an 80 twisted spoke rim for my springer and I'm seeing conflicting fitments.

I like the way the 80 looks.

I know the wheel is offset in the forks. I think it might be the spokes. One side longer than the other.

Pretty sure the springer is single disc only...if that helps at all.

The forks aren't offset. It's in the hub or the axle spacers are longer on the left side. Everything is offset to the right.

The brake setup on the Springer is unique to the Springer,( caliper/rotor )...the design of the Springer front end can't support the same braking force as a hydro front end. Would be safe to say the hub supports the caliper mounting for the Springer only.
