Loose exhaust heat shields can chirp, especially when the brackets that the hose clamps go through crack....pull the shields and check the brackets.

My FLT stock mufflers are hung in rubber mounts and the right one chirps at this mount.
Havent been able to really deal with it yet but it is a loud chirp for sure.
Tried a shot of silicone lube to the rubber but no go so far.
I might try replacing the rubber with silicone .
Dont know if your pipes are hung in rubber mounts or not .?

I carry a little can of WD40 for that rubber mount chirping. Makes a bit of a mess, but it works. I pulled up next to a cop once and both is bags were chirping loudly. I felt like telling him to spray his mounts! Maybe I'll get some new mounts.

My bike has been chirping to one extent or another for 26 years and 80K+ miles. I don't really worry about it.

Well, mysteriously the chirping has stopped. Had not messed with the bike for a week. Got on it yesterday and no chirp. We are having an unseasonable warm spell. The chirping appeared when the weather got cold. I don't know what's going on.

My bike does the exact thing. I blame it on the hyper charger, it is exactly where it is coming from. It only does it on down shifts, or when I pop the throttle while in gear under load. I actually like the sound as weird as it is.. Pull the air cleaner off and see if it stops. Doesn't do it at idle or in neutral does it? Only while under load?
