Congrats for persevering and getting her going, I just wonder why when you used the ether earlier she did not start. Perhaps the coil wires were the wrong way round in the begining, A double fault is always the hardest to find, Well done to the EVO guys for getting this one sorted,

I used Carb cleaner the first time. I probably sprayed too much into the carb.
I've never heard of using carb cleaner as a starting agent, I don't believe it to be combustible enough, I'll stick with ether, but that's just my opinion.

I have learned a lot from your experience and from others on this forum. Hopefully if I have any problems when the time comes you and others can give some advice when I really need it!
