Does anyone know of a good way to drain the tank and not spill fuel all over the freaking place? I can't access the coil with it on.

I just run a hose from the petcock to a gas can and put it on reserve and let it drain.

OK, answer this one. I disconected the fuel line from the petcock, turned the fuel back on, and nothing comes out. Is that normal or is this my no start problem?

Have you pulled that petcock? Might be a good idea, but can't imagine why it would just plug up now for no reason.

But fuel should be flowing, right? I haven't done anything to the petcock.

It won't flow. vacuum operated VOES. You can remove the fuel line at the front of the tank and drain most of it, then unscrew the pet ****.

Or you can buy one of those hoses at the parts house with a squeeze bulb in it, like on a boat motor, and drain the tank with that. They work pretty good.

You had gas coming out the accellerator pump in the earlier test, that should of fired the engine and would of shut off when gas didn't refill the carb is characteristics of a petcock problem.

Walk before running, is the ignition firing correctly, last check
