Sure that it has compression? sounds like it's spinning with the plugs out.

Pull a plug right quick, put your finger on the hole, see what ya got.

When you adjusted the valves are you sure you did it on the firing stroke? It is possible to adjust them on the intake exhaust stroke at tdc. I always remove the timing inspection plug so I can see the timing mark on the crankshaft to make sure that when the piston is at tdc it is on the firing stroke. Just a thought.

I adjusted them per Velva Touch's instructions. I turned the rear wheel until the lifters were both on the bottom. Then adjusted the fronts and repeated for the rear.

All I know is, you can't sleep or work til it's running. The anticipation is killing me! I'm puzzled. The single fire I don't understand, other than that, seems like it should run.
