You can reuse lifters on a roller cam just look them over real close,if they are sloppy replace them. The lifter blocks also can be reused,of course look them over as well drop in a lifter see if it has any side play. You should not be able to feel any at all.
Thanks dog. After extensive research and talking to my brother, who is a motorcycle mechanic, I think I will make the call for getting lifters after checking the existing ones. The bike only has 16,000 miles on it so they should be OK, but I will inspect them.
My brother scored me an Andrews EV27 cam!!!! FREEBIE. All I have to get now is some gaskets, cam seal, bearing and some quick change pushrods. If my lifters are in good shape, I will finish out for less than $150 bucks, just think of the beers I saved, I mean money.
Just a heads up, to order that torrington cam bearing from Zanottis, you have to call them, the part number doesn't work on their website.
