Default Compression after 250 miles

So, I'm just messing around in the garage and decided to do a compression test and check the plugs after 250 miles (after the top end job).

Front cylinder 165 psi, rear 170psi and the plugs look like this.

So far, so good?

Those plugs look a whole lot better than the last set you posted, does the one on the right have a crack in the porcelian?? Looks like it in the pic. Compression is right where is should be...good job...

Maybe a tad lean (hard to tell in the pictures) but they look good to me.

Dang, i didn't even notice the " crack". I just pulled them and sure enough, one is cracked on both sides. Dam, how does THAT happen? They are NEW.

Yea and why is the one on the left have that funky area where the coating looks like it is missing, down near by where the threads are, is it leaking.

No idea how it got cracked, maybe you tilted the socket when loosening...who knows...What number autolites are they, I use the coppers and they seem to last forever for me. You are running the engine in cold weather, cold air is dense with O2 so you will be running a little lean this time of year. If it's running ok then leave stuff alone until the summer/normal riding season.
