Default Johnson lifter question.

Doing a top end rebuild on a 1990 Evo.
Keeping motor stock with a mild head shave to bump up compression slightly , install an Andrews EV27 cam and replace the lifters.
Have decided on Johnson lifters but have noticed that there are two types available for the 90 Evo.
My question is ... the Johnson V-2303 is a direct replacement but another offered is the V-2303S which is designed for heavy valve springs and high lift cams., im wondering if the V-2303S is simply a stouter unit and applicable to a stock motor or only to be installed in a high output engine.?
The difference in price is only approx. $50.00 and i cant seem to get through to the supplier by phone.?
Any help is appreciated .

2303 is fine with EV27, the other runs a higher hydraulic pressure.
