nice project. I also like that it is a one day remove and install. The road glide is missing the tab on the kickstand and I am for sure that I would be missing a fingertip or two if I was to buy and install a BDL as I reach down 50% of the time for the jiffy.
I see the compression releases on the engine. Is it an Ultima painted BBQ black? Or are the wires just Ultima?
Nice work!!!!!
PS
don't show Jasper because he will be researching how to put a rubber band up front with a chain outback.

Amazing, I posted a link to this in the touring section and not one comment in almost 100 looks!!!! I guess they aren't very technical over there.

Touring section? They freak out if you change your own oil.
Looks great!
No problem. This summer I hope to get started on a custom framed EVO powered FXR. Inverted forks, belt drive primary, big EVO, 200mm rear tire, and a FLHT tranny so there will be no oil tank showing!!! I plan on taking pictures and posting as the build progresses.

I personally would love to have a belt drive on my Ultra just don't have the money for it right now. Very nice post I enjoyed looking at the pictures as you did it.
