No problems so far. I am using a 1.4 starter, fisher-terry cables ( I've had them since before they split up) and an earthX 680 CCA lithium ion battery. The battery really spins it over so starting isn't a problem. Ultima (Dyna) programable ignition with the VOES hooked up, 32 degrees total timing with the 120 on the street.

MIA. I thought 28 degrees was pushing it on that motor?

No these belts wont handle it at all. they slip bad, and cause a lot of mess in the primary.
