and, the engine is producing alot of debris smaller than the filter can catch in the first hour.

You know that silver looking stuff floating on top?

Leaking around the rear, dripping by drain plug area?
Most likely the inner primary bearing seal, not hard to fold the lip or nick on splines during assembly.

On my build, I changed my dyno oil & filter at 60 mi and 500 mi. and both times had glittery silver in the oil. As much stress and cash I went through on the build, Im glad to spend the $20 for the oil changes. Heat & contamination is the big factor, peace of mind is the other. But to each their own. By the way, my lil 80" Evo is kicken butt.

That's exactly where it's leaking. My buddy called me today and said it was actually the trans seal , but replace both anyway. Picking it up tomorrow. I had enough of this thing, I needed a break! He is Harley mechanic, said the bike sounded GREAT! So that made my head swell!.. trying to get a small vid loaded, but I don't know WTH I'm doing wrong with it...

OH and Ace, I feel ya on the stress level! lol

Thought I was loosing my hair and I was. Take it lite and one step at a time.
Usually there are bugs to fix in a build before it all done. Sounds like light at the end of the tunnel. Congrats and good luck.

Took the rocker cover off, replaced the gasket, seems to fix that... but this bike has VERY VERY low oil pressure, like maybe 2 lbs running down the road. Something isn't right..

http://www.ertproducts.com/H-D_OIL_PRESSURE_FACTS.html ordered this! So i'll let you know what happens

UPDATE:::: I was taking the stock sending unit out, and putting the pressure gauge in where it was. I now know it goes where the screen and spring goes...going for a ride to see. .

UPDATE #2:::: went 25 miles , oil pressure was 22psi at 2000-2800 RPM's .. Little low at idol compared to my other, so as of now, going to break it in and re-tune the carb.
