Oil leak/ bubbles
Agreed with above.
And when you do hop it up, stroke it or flow the heads and "cam" it. Don't big bore it.
You big bore Twin Cams, but Evos not so much. (Evos cases often aren't meaty enough to cut out even more metal.)

There is one other alternative and its in a bottle !
I have done this with cars and trucks and it worked well as long as the gasket or o ring is not actually broken . First determine what the offending gasket is made of , then
go to any auto. parts supply shop and find someone who knows what they are talking about ., describe your problem in detail and ask if there are any
" seal swelling " oil additives that are applicable to your particular leak problem. He should be able to point out the best product for you.
Next ... follow the instructions on the bottle to the letter including your volume of oil/amount of additive etc.
You should see the leak getting smaller as time goes by etc.
When and if this helps over a period of time then retorque the base bolts to specs. and if all is well you have slayed this dragon for a few bucks instead of
a whole lot of bucks .

I think its acetone or something that swells all the old seals back to normal.?
Used this in my Shovel, few years back , to stop base gasket & push-rod cover leaks . Shovel's use square o-ring's. ( Evo"s not the only one prone to base leaks.) Followed directions, & to my amazement, leak's went away. Think it has some property to swell the gasket & make it supple again , to a point. Can't say it will work for everything, but worked for my application.
Ride Safe,
Harold
