Default cam change??

Well its time for me to make my 91 fatboy run faster, Im having the heads done, reringing it and putting a ev27 cam in it. Have a few questions hopfull u guys can help me. I got a used cam from local swap, looks like new? plan to reuse stock pushrods for now(will cut some day and replace $$). the cam came with a round thrush washer and the one I took out had a funny shape stock one, shoud I reuse the stock one. It looks like the one with new cam only rides on the inner bearing. also should i buy new c clips for the pistons. I checked inner lobe clearance on the cam at case and I can fit the tip of a zip tie in so thinking im good there. thanks for and advice and help. Corey

If the hardening on the cam lobes is Ok then it fine to use. There was a 50 thou change to the length of the cams at some point so go to the Andrews cam website and download the installation instructions for the EV27 which will give you the advice you need regarding shims etc.

Don't be in a hurry to install adjustable pushrods....lazy people get lazy results if you ask me ;-)
