Sounds like you are running rich.
What jets are in and what year model is your super e?
Did you do the fuel/air mixture screw adjustment?

Try this site.

Try adjusting your idle/air mixture screw a little leaner. Check to ensure your enrichner is closing fully. If that doesn't do it then go leaner on the low side.

It can be tuned out just fine with any pipes. Go to S&S's web site and watch the video's. They'll explain everything you need to know in about 5 minutes. The video's are on Youtube to. And what you say makes perfect sense. The hotter it is out, the richer your bike will run. Car, bike, anything, if it's got a carb., you'll likely need to do some adjusting with anything over a 15 degree temp change in order to really have the engine running right. Most machines will come from any manufactures tuned to about 70 degrees. But your application is custom, so it's all up to you.

One way to check the condition of the present tune is to gap and replace the plugs with standard oem plugs and fill her up with the grade of fuel you normally use . Be sure the air filter is clean and the enricher is working properly.
Warm her up and take her on a short run ... lay on the throttle and make the engine work hard.
When you get very close to home give it one more hard throttle and then kill the motor just before you get off the throttle . Coast into your driveway , pull the plugs and read them .
The plugs should now indicate what the present tune is and you can go from there.
Also suggest you replace whatever plugs you have been using up to now and go to irridium plugs as they are money well spent.

Ok, enrichener is working properly, air filter is brand new, plugs gapped at 39, and I turned the idle mixture clockwise 3/4 turn..Afterwards bike is popping, and spitting when im decellerating or coasting down hill? but plugs are kind of still dry and sooty black? white on ceramic is kinda white/kinda black? Im lost? Bike ran fine first year carb was installed...Like im running through terrible 2's!
