'98 FXD, EV13 cam, Super E carb and breather, S&S ez pushrods, new lifters, V&H slip-ons, 2000i ignition, other than that, stock everything else. Got to 103 the other day when some dumbass in a cage thought it was funny to cut me off in town and slow the whole lane down, so when we got on the 4 lane that's about a mile long he thought he'd then leave everyone behind...and did, except for me. He pussied out at around 95 and I kept going so I could look over at him and laugh. Had a bit of throttle left but by then it was coming up back to the two lane and a curve. What I *think* I hear sitting forward of the end of the exhaust, it sounds like the bike is winding out badly, but if I lean over to my right some and back, I can hear it more correctly and man oh man does it sound sweet! I'm just curious what rpm I'm doing at 100 in my 5th gear.

My Fuel Injected 98 road king will go up to 90 mph in a hurry. At that speed, the computer says it's time to pull the plug on the idiot at the throttle and it shuts it down.

Did 90 once on a totally stock '87 Heritage Softail...with a 325 pound girl on the back. Poor bike.

That leaves about what, 110 pounds for fluids (gas, oil) and you on that machine.......before you tip the scales past the gross vehicle weight rating.
