Default Question about floorboards

Hey guys. I'm trying to piece together some passenger floorboards for my 95 Heritage. I've located the fold-up mounting hardware, just have to refinish so they look nice. My question is, do the various style of inserts fit into the chrome "covers" or is there another piece between the insert and cover? Thanks

The rubber foot pad mounts directly to the chrome foot support.

Not sure what you mean by "covers".

When I say covers....when the boards are folded up ( not in use), the chrome piece that shows. The ones I want are enscripted "Harley Davidson". New these are $65 bucks for a set. In any event are these what the rubber inserts set in? i.e.. what are all the pieces needed during assembly? I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible and right now I know where I can get the mounting hardware (brackets). I'm trying to tally the price of them and whatever else is needed vs what the whole package will cost me new at HD.

Wanted to make sure, also, if anyone knows if the passenger mounting brackets from a late 90's Heritage would fit my 95? I have stock passenger pegs on it now.

Thanks, looks like the cover/pan is one in the same.
