Well, I took the plunge, ripped everything out today.

1. I may have missed the thing about the Green wire, by itself. I think it's from the oil pressure switch? Do I just ignore this?
2. Also, what about the Bank Angle Sensor? What is this? Should I be concerned?
I have the wiring harness, seems like all the connections are ok, except for that single green wire connector.
MAP sensor, Crank Pos sensor, Coil, Ignition module connected. (I'm using the DynaTech).
3. Where and how do I mount this ignition coil? It doesn't fit in the bracket on the frame like the stock unit. The coil is from DynaTeck too. p/n 2008.
4. What air cleaner back-plate do I need? A stock one?

Thanks!

Still working on mine, I got sidetracked and plan to get back to the wiring this weekend or next while I'm waiting on more parts.. But, the green wire, should have a yellow tracer, and two pin hardshell. That would be your oil pressure switch.. Keep us posted on your progress..

By the way, I picked up a Big Sucker for mine.. The aircleaner backing plate wont work because of the oval hole(biggest reason).. The actual filter wont fit the big sucker either, but I'm sure there's something out there that will work.

The wire may be Green/Yellow. I will confirm.

it does have a hard connector, however, it doesn't match the harness.

What doesnt match? I see the two pin hardshell with a G/Y and Bn wire. Not being smart, but just looks right to me.

The male/female doesn't match. Also, the wire colors.
Could be some differences in harnesses?

EDIT: I must have been really tired last night! Turns out the connectors match. The only difference is that my bike has only one wire for the oil pressure switch, the harness has two. Not sure if this will make a difference.

Also, do I need to connect the cam position sensor? I know the Crank Position sensor is required, not sure about the Cam Pos sensor.

This schematic shows that the bikes with only lights had one wire, and bikes with gauges had two wires. Both of these connectors seem to feed into the wiring for the EFI; is it necessary for the bikes with carbs?

Default Another question...

This setup does not work with the carburetor. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions/options to what I can do.

Can I buy an aftermarket air cleaner that will accommodate this setup? Do I need to buy some different breather bolts?

There is no need to connect the crank position sensor. There is nothing to connect it to. Cam position is your timer in the nose cone. You need to change the timer cup. A big sucker comes with the hardware needed and the filter element. You can use your existing cover.

You need a carb support bracket. They are on ebay for around $20.
