Been riding and tuning, got it close but have noticed that a S&S style carb isn't as precise compared to a Mikuni or CV but has the giddy up factor in it's corner. Engine is runner better and better, running it deeper into the R's to check the crossover AFR on the Thunderjet which comes in at 4000 rpm and the big engine will push the tach quick.
Yes this is as much fun as expected, quick as heck and not violent, starting to stretch the arms and forks on a 35 mph roll on. This engine pulls strong at 2500, from riding hard with basic good running small HD engines, the smaller engines have to create some R's to start moving, these big engines accellerate so hard that when the smaller engine reaches little bit of R's it is easy to say it's too late. Overall it has great street manors but the idle is getting choppier with the break in, if I idle it below 1100 rpms it will just shut off.
Will get the tuner off of it and find a 5 year old to help me put a video on here after taking it so going to keep riding.
Yea reminds me of a chick I met at a Mardi gras a few years ago when I was single. We rode , bar hopped and partied all night . She was exited to share how good her new ***** felt . She was like check out how good they feel ! She was all about this all night long ! She was also all about sharing the fact that her ex paid for her new ***** , she was quite proud of that . She ended up spending the night with me and while that was great I was feeling sorry for her ex. I guess its all about prospective.

Rained all week and no miles, got the White Bike out today to put some more miles on it and starting getting brave. Found 2 situations that can happen that I have never experianced in a 1st gear rolling WOT, rear tire breaking loose going side ways and a RK going into a wheelie, experianced both those today. The tire breaking loose scared the chit out of me but the wheelie was just plain cool
Jeez Bagger, with the older stroker that you had I though you woulda been able to do both... lol
I can break my rear wheel no problem but gotta be honest and admit that I have to quickly release the clutch and have the revs the higher the better. Lifting that springer front end with my fat *** ain't gonna happen anytime soon. I'll need a shiny new motor like you and jasper .
But that is a dream for another year.I'll take a Panhead sooner though.

With the fat bike and donut eating rider the stroker was still challenged to do both, could of clutched it and did both but that can result in a phone call for a trailer.
Do like your idea of a Panhead, would be the same feeling to ride as a big engine
