Just to be more specific, I meant the ends at the carb.
I called J&P to speak to a tech. The guy agreed that the 90 cables will work on my 88 so I ordered them. Worst case they don't fit I'll just send them back and try again.
Just wanted to update my original post. Got the '90 cables and they will absolutely NOT work. Ends and exposed cable length at the ends are different. Called Barnett and found out that for slightly more than I paid at J&P for the '90 cables I can order custom '88 cables with the 90 degree elbow and any length I want.
I'm glad you got it figured out and I'm sorry for the bad information.
Thanks and PLEASE don't apologize. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. Every mistake I make a long the way is a learning experience. And I wasn't posting to call out anyone. Just figured it might help someone out in the future.
